The project involved a contest with the theme "Jack & the Beanstalk," incorporating the colors Green, Gold, and Pantone's Very Peri. The task was to create artwork resembling a stamp with a face value of $5, representing Canada, and featuring typical stamp perforations as a border.
Taking on the roles of illustrator and typographer, I utilized Illustrator to bring the vision to life for the Cowichan Stamp Club. The result was a winning entry, securing 1st place in the "theme" category and earning recognition for an outstanding exhibit.
In this project, my creative approach successfully merged the elements of the theme, color palette, and stamp design, aligning with the contest specifications and showcasing my skills in illustration and typography.
